Age Limits : For the year 2015 (OFS-A(JB)-

Candidate must be under 32 years and over 21 years of age as on the 1stJanuary, 2015.

For the year 2016 (OAS-A(JB), OFS-A(JB) & OPS-A(JB)-

Candidate must be under 32 years and over 21 years of age as on the 1st January, 2016.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government.

Plan and Conduct of Examination:

The Civil Services Examination will consist of the following successive stages :-

(I) Preliminary Examination

(II) Main Examination

(III) Personality Test or Interview.

Application Fee : A candidate is required to pay a nonrefundable and nonadjustable fee of 300/-(Rupees three hundred) only.
